1938 - 2022

  Father · Doctor · Adventurer

May his legacy endure through the education and inspiration of others.

Terence G. Klingele, known as "Terry," was a man of remarkable will and strength of character. With a brilliant mind, he rose from humble beginnings to create a lasting legacy that will carry on for generations.  His life was marked by adventure and a relentless pursuit of knowledge.

An accomplished surgeon and fighter pilot, he was also an avid fisherman, scuba diver and mountain climber. In 2009 at the age of 70 years old, he summited Mount Kilimanjaro - twice. While in Tanzania he developed a deep respect and admiration for the Tanzanian people.  Along his journey, he spent time volunteering in many developing nations, providing life changing ophthalmology surgeries and mentoring fellow doctors.

A generous and fearless man, he would travel even to the most remote and dangerous of places finding great fulfillment in helping those in need. In his honor, the Terence G. Klingele Foundation is dedicated to his greatest lesson, that life's truest adventure is to never stop learning.

In honoring Dr. Klingele's legacy, your gift helps carry forward his vision, creating opportunities for learning, growth, and advancement for generations to come.
