Dedicated in loving memory of
Dr. Terence G. Klingele
1938 - 2022
Father · Doctor · Adventurer
May his legacy endure through the education and inspiration of others.
Terence G. Klingele, known as "Terry," was a man of remarkable determination, curiosity, and strength of character. From humble beginnings, he built an extraordinary life defined by adventure, service, and a lifelong pursuit of knowledge.
An accomplished surgeon and pilot, Terry was also an avid fisherman, scuba diver and mountain climber. In 2009, at the age of 70, he summited Mount Kilimanjaro - twice.
His time in Tanzania left a lasting impression and a genuine affection for the country and its people.
Throughout his life, Terry traveled to communities in need around the world, including some of the most remote and challenging places, volunteering his skills as an ophthalmic surgeon. He found great fulfillment in helping others and believed deeply in the value of education.
The Terence G. Klingele Foundation was created in his honor and carries forward one of the principles that defined his life: Never stop learning.
Through education, opportunity, and service, we hope to pass that spirit on to a new generation.
Your support helps his legacy live on.
